However, it's not granting of citizenship. On 4th August 2020 The Government of Malaysia has decided to temporarily suspended the program to allow Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) and related agencies to comprehensively review and re-evaluate the MM2H program since its inception in 2002.
